@cycloxoxford Thank you for the add. I think that in the 15 or so solid days (and the countless hours back in my workshop) we managed to save and distribute over 350 bikes as part of this project.

This '92 Trek 7000 was donated to the Active Oxfordshire 'Sanctuary Wheels' project being delivered by Cyclox. I've refurbished it and will auction it off and donate the proceeds to Cyclox. Anyone fancy a retro ride? #SanctuaryWheels

@BeebsG @pedalmeapp @FDbikes @HF_Cycling @CargodadC I hope you got it fixed and got home. Find a local mobile bike mechanic, there are plenty around. Beyond this take a class on how to sort out such roadside problems. Some bike shops hold classes.

@bikebath I do normally use a stand when carrying out repairs, unless it would result in losing the seat post wedge down the seat tube 😵‍💫. We had a fantastic day @bikebath and looking forward to the next one.

@tweetymike @parktool I couldn’t find one so plumped for the Lifeline one from Wiggle. That plus some Jagwire slick-lube liner and I’ve had no issues so far. I’ll still probably get the Park one I imagine.
