A @TxDPS Special Agent & Trooper disrupted a human smuggling attempt on US 90 in Del Rio. The driver, Vladyslava Bodrova, 24, of Ukraine, and passenger, Quinten Hardy, 26, of Houston, were arrested for smuggling 5 illegal immigrants from Honduras. The couple was to transport the illegal immigrants to San Antonio & receive $1,500 per person. #OperationLoneStar

NEW: Per multiple CBP sources, last night, CBP & Border Patrol leadership made decision to authorize all Border Patrol sectors to begin “safe” street releases of migrants to communities across border *if* NGO shelters and CBP facilities do not have the capacity to hold them.

This means in coming days we will likely begin to see mass releases of migrants at bus stops, gas stations, supermarkets etc in communities across the border as illegal crossings continue to surge to record highs ahead of T42 drop in 2 days.

NEW: Our Fox drone over another enormous group of migrants who crossed illegally into Brownsville yesterday evening. As of yesterday, CBP sources tell us Border Patrol’s Rio Grande Valley sector was already running at 140% capacity in its facilities, and T42 hasn’t dropped yet.

NEW: Per CBP sources, Border Patrol apprehended more than 10,300 migrants who crossed illegally yesterday, and Monday also broke the 10,000 threshold. I’m told these are the highest single day totals ever recorded - and it’s expected to go even higher after T42 drops tomorrow.

FYI: When you hear DHS Secretary Mayorkas say that migrants are placed into “removal proceedings”, that doesn’t mean they are being removed. Sometimes it does, but a large majority of the time, it means release w/ future court date. That is part of Title 8 “removal proceedings.”
