This morning, I had the privilege of worshipping with the incredible congregation at Unite180 Church alongside Pastors David and Chanelle Grobler.
It was a deeply moving and uplifting experience. Thank you for the warm welcome, the heartfelt worship and the powerful message of hope and faith.
I was especially encouraged to see so many young South Africans filling the auditorium. Seeing a generation choosing faith, purpose and community gives me great hope for the future. @DavidGrobler@Unite180
Scripture does not call for bread analysts, but for bread eaters. Analysis has value only insofar as it deepens our eating. Bread admired but never eaten leaves us unchanged. (Matt 4:4; John 6:35; Ezek 3:1–3)
"For the invocation of Christ is the confession of the whole, since it is clear that God is the one anointing, the Son is the one anointed, and the Spirit is the anointing, as we have learned from Peter in Acts."
St Basil the Great, On the Holy Spirit
Cessationism turns the Church into a hospice. Soothing people through the pain of what they no longer believe God can heal.
But the Gospel was never palliative. It is curative.
Powerful, and present. It brings divine treatment to even the most severe conditions. If it can treat your damnation it can treat all lesser things.
If you’ve never heard of or joined a @Unite180 uGroup before.. You’re missing out.
My life changed because I decided to go to a uGroup one night. Yours can too.
Message me to get connected 🙌🔥
For those who say, "Being slain in the Spirit is not in the Bible, so we don't accept it," well, prophecy, gifts of healing, speaking in tongues, raising hands in worship, driving out demons, dancing in celebration ARE in the Bible. Do you welcome these practices in your church?
