Today I was asked by @NewsNation about OUR #MakeMemphisMatter movement and whether Democrats will finally get the message that it’s time to accept help to get our crime challenge under control.

While Democrats refuse the help, I’m grateful for President Trump’s willingness to send federal resources to Memphis. We don’t have to live this way. Safe and clean streets are in our future, and I appreciate all who partner with us to make our community a better place to raise a family.

I’m just getting started. After all, we have a city to save!
