i need the queer community to become more vocal about classism that impacts trans people specifically. so many trans people are homeless, barely getting by, stuck doing sex work, stripped of their jobs or education for transitioning- IT NEVER ENDED. WE ARE STILL SUFFERING.
Even if the cop violence in morocco didnt happen he wouldn't even be able to confess and live happily due to the fact, he lives in morocco
This is why pride is important and i wish one day we will be able to raise awareness on queerness in north africa
I think some people aren't really understanding, it's not about corporations actually giving a fuck. They never did. It's moreso an indicator that it *used to* be seen as profitable to signal allyship, but that's just not the case anymore, which is sincerely concerning

people love that quote of "a lesbian is not a woman" because they think its quirky slogan for nonbinary lesbians but always defang its meaning.
patriarchy defines womanhood to it's relationship to men, so lesbians lack of attraction to them makes them "not women" in their eyes>>

a trans woman was beaten to death in toronto & police are having trouble identifying them. the police also don’t seem to be pushing this story as much so it seems unlikely her people will find her :(
Trying not to be bitter but Africans have warned yall about China’s presence on the continent for awhile now + how it’s another form of exploitation on the continent for years now like the toxic spill in a river wasn’t enough or the cover up? Okay
