Sometimes I feel very doomer about the impact that my generation and I can have on the world when it comes to technology with the endless enshitification of everything, but other times I think about rare building something reliably that looks pretty is.
I wonder what the repercussions of offloading all of our thinking to GPUs will be in the short and long term.
Will there be a gap in society between those with a large amount of GenAI use and those who refuse it?
Who will rule who?
AI, models, layoffs, 10%, 20%, 25%, 10x, 100x, 1000x, Claude Code this, OpenCode that, low performers, builders, agents, subagents, harness...
I just want to say, itβs all becoming very exhausting.
I'm not even trying to sound overly cynical (okay maybe I am). But when using someone's AI slop project, it is evident because of how clunky, bland, and slow it is.
As corny as it sounds, AI generated slop will always be inferior simply because it will not show the love and passion it was made with. Including your fucking C compiler anon.
