Dr. Keisha Scarlett

Saint Louis Public Schools Superintendent. This is the place for news about SLPS and to follow my journey as its superintendent. More of "me" @SuptScarlett!

SLPS families, board members, and superintendent (among others) are all working tirelessly in the interests of our kids! This week's stop: Jefferson City to make sure legislators at the Missouri Capitol know that we are more than just faceless numbers! #moleg

If you watch the CBS show "Survivor" @survivorcbs you'll find Roosevelt High School represented! But the work Katurah Topps does in her "real job" as an NAACP Legal Defense Fund civil rights lawyer is even more interesting!

The Cyber Academy at @clydecmillerCA had quite a treat: a behind the scenes look at CITYPark, the hi-tech jewel of @stlCITYsc soccer club! Students already fascinated by tech got to see some unique applications, and maybe a few career ideas!

Big news at SLPS! Mallinckrodt and Betty Wheeler Elementary Schools Receive National Blue Ribbon Schools Recognition!
The recognition is based on academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps.
Congratulations to the students, staff and families at both schools !

It's a big day for SLPS! We now have the TOP TWO HIGH SCHOOLS IN MISSOURI! Metro continues as #1 and moves into the top 100 nationally! (99) Meanwhile Collegiate moves up to #2 in the state. (150 nationally!) Big news for McKinley as well, jumping to #18 in Missouri!

[Saint Louis Public Schools @SLPS_INFO]

It was a little bit warm at Pierre Laclede Elementary today as the repaired A/C system caught up. But nothing solves these sort of problems like popsicles!

We can’t thank these drivers enough!

[Saint Louis Public Schools @SLPS_INFO]

It's been a rough few days for our Missouri Central School Bus drivers, so some Metro High School students found a way to help them beat a little bit of the heat!

[Dr. Keisha Scarlett @SLPS_SUPT]

Every day has been a new adventure!
