The Saskatoon Lions Speed Skating Club (SLSSC) is one of the oldest, continuously operating speed skating clubs in Canada. It was formed in January, 1942.

2/3 - The extended hours start Monday, December 28, and run for the rest of the season. These extended hours will provide recreation and physical activity opportunities to the public every week day that the oval is open.

1/3 - @SLSSC1942 continues to contribute to the Gordie Howe Sports Complex in various ways! Most recently, the club secured a grant to provide additional public skating opportunities at the Clarence Downey Speed Skating Oval extending the skating hours until 10 p.m. Mon - Thurs.
