The UK govt's approach to migration is cruel and inhumane.
The absence of safe routes and the criminalisation of people seeking safety force more people to risk their lives at sea – with devastating effects.
RT or QT this to tell @SuellaBraverman we need safe routes now!
Hey @BorisJohnson, thought I’d do a survey to help you read the room.
A simple question:
Should Stanley Johnson (Boris Johnson’s father) receive a knighthood?
Please retweet once you answer so that we can get as many responses as possible
I have lost count how many patients with ME/CFS and/or long Covid are made to feel that they are not truly suffering. In my clinical experience, patients with these conditions often suffer the most & the symptoms are terribly debilitating. Absolutely shocking & disgraceful.
@AilieReid I love living & working in the Highlands. The team is great. Rural Generalist posts give you a really good flavour of all the different areas of practice. You get a varied job in the most beautiful surroundings. We have Voice Professional Interest Group (PIG) meetings each year.
@AilieReid Join the Voice CEN - as a student you get discount on study days. Voice is specialism so most routes are via a Band 5 Adult post. More rural areas we work as generalists so I often work with voice disorders. We have a Band 5 post https://t.co/C2mCrnixI3 DM if you have Qs.
Wonderful opportunity for any new grads or experienced band 5 #SLT colleagues. The Highlands are an amazing place to live & work. ❤ https://t.co/C2mCrnixI3

1/8 It’s Children in Need season. I always feel like an absolute grinch critiquing it because it’s so beloved and obviously raises much needed cash. But my ick outweighs my discomfort at being impolite so here we go (a thread)
BBC News at 4pm interviewed an 'expert' from Migration Watch during an item about the Home Secretary and immigration, without the slightest attempt to explain that MW was a right-wing pressure group. BBC getting worse and worse.
