I paused after watching episode 11 because nocturnal sweeping released the night before ep 12 and I liked it so much that I thought I didn’t even need to watch mujica the following day because I was still in a good mood because of nocturnal sweeping and then I just never returned

only took a year and a half but I finished mujica. unfair to judge it based on such a stilted watch but it’s unfortunately weak for me. There are peaks but I just could never like sakiko as a character and the unearned grandiosity she pushes kills the tone for me. Uika is great.

I like mutsumi and nyamu is kind of just nyamu but she’s not bad especially when interacting with umiri because umiri is funny as fuck. And Umiri is funny as fuck but also good. They definitely have a feeling of not being able to live their full potential in the show but idk.

3 more eps of mujica and i hope they pull off what theyve been building up cuz its great. i hope umiri nyamu and some mygo dont get sidelined. i feel like mujica needs to fully implode this time, the reunion is clearly intentionally stilted and just a lot of selfish coincidence

Everything related to sakiko feels like ive switched to a period drama disconnected from any sort of sincere emotional content for me unfortunately. There are great things swirling around but it feels like the show can’t figure out how to create compelling direction for them
