My two cents:

Jantar Mantar has turned into a carnival of resistance. And it has spread to other cities across India.

It has moved beyond Wangchuk. The protestors don't give a flying fuck about what his wife, Gitanjali, thinks of Rahul Gandhi's protest.

They don't care about the statements from attention seeking AAP leaders.

They don't care whether some Congress supporters approve of it either.

After Rahul Gandhi's protest outside the PM's house, graffiti thanking him for it came up at the protest site.

The young protestors are not interested in this juvenile "my protest is better than your protest" argument.

They are mature enough to understand that. Unfortunately, some netas and their chamchas are not.

"...it’s high time we call out the propagandists amongst us who have made it difficult for reporters to hit the field and go about their jobs. This isn’t about partisanship — but hate-filled propaganda.

It’s one thing to criticise the protests, talk about the traffic mess, or even take positions on primetime news siding with the government and against the protests. Quite another to misrepresent facts, spread lies, and tarnish people’s reputation. While partisanship is something we may just have to accept in opinion-driven news formats, we can’t accept propaganda that puts people’s lives in jeopardy.
