How does one political family end up with 436.54 acres?

The figures placed before the Assembly run across the family: 67.5 acres with KCR and Shobha, 123.19 acres across KTR’s family, 29.5 acres across Harish Rao and Srinitha, 37.26 acres with Kavitha and Anil Kumar, 79 acres with Santosh Kumar’s family, 52.165 acres with Naveen Kumar and 48.38 acres with Kondal Rao. Those are the holdings that now need an explanation: whose land, bought when, from whom, and under what classification?

And Revanth Reddy’s Land Ceiling Act point is where this gets particularly incriminating. The law was written to prevent agricultural land from concentrating endlessly in a few hands. It defines a statutory family unit, aggregates the holdings of that unit, and fixes the ceiling according to the class of land. The question is unit by unit and parcel by parcel: what did each statutory family unit hold, when was it acquired, what declarations were filed, and what happened to the record thereafter?

CM Revanth Reddy has repeatedly invoked the history behind that law: land reform was meant to move surplus land away from concentration and toward the landless, and he has said 24.56 lakh acres were distributed through that framework to Dalits, Girijans and Adivasis. A law born from the principle of breaking up concentrated holdings is now sitting squarely in the middle of a dispute involving hundreds of acres linked to one political family.

And then comes Erravalli. The Chief Minister has ordered officials to determine within 30 days how much land KCR actually purchased, how much is under his control, and the status of 388 acres that are government land.

At this point, the family tree is beginning to read less like genealogy and more like a cadastral map.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's prediction for next Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in #Telangana.

Addressing Rythu Aashirvada Sabha public meeting in #Khammam today, Revanth Reddy said:

The next Assembly elections will not be held in December 2028.

Instead, both the Telangana Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be held in May or June 2029.

Following delimitation, Telangana's Lok Sabha seats will increase from 17 to 26.

The Assembly seats will rise from 119 to 182 seats.

Predicting the outcome nearly 36 months in advance, #RevanthReddy declared that the Congress will win 117 out of 182 Assembly seats and return to power for a second consecutive term.

To underline his confidence, #Revanth said he was making the prediction "on the oath of Lord Sri Rama of #Bhadrachalam ."

He said the proposed #delimitation would increase Telangana's strength to 25 #LokSabha seats and 182 Assembly constituencies, and asserted that the Congress would win 117 of the 182 Assembly seats to return to power for a second term.

Taking an oath in the name of #LordRama of #Bhadrachalam, #RevanthReddy called it a pledge of Congress workers.

Launching a sharp attack on the @BRSparty, he said: "The next battle is our #Kurukshetra, and we will emerge victorious. We will politically bury the @TSwithKCR family from #Telangana. #Congress workers will not rest until then."

He also took a swipe at #KCR, saying: "We have confined the '#PaapalaBhairavudu ' to the #farmhouse, and there will be no liberation for him."
