Leroy Hammett
David Butts
Stan Jones
Brian Selby
Darien Wingate
Ray Harris

NATIONAL COACHES DAY 🏀
One of the best parts of coaching is watching your players become coaches.
Proud of Trevon Artis Randolph & Jaymes Jackson for taking what they learned as players and pouring it into the next generation.
Develop people who eventually develop people.
I Gave Darien “Coach Dee” Wingate his first college coaching opportunity at Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
Five seasons together. Helped build the culture. 2019 National Champions. 🏆
Years later, we reunited on the sideline at Paul Quinn College.
He became part of the blueprint.
Davaughn Roberts — The Brick Wall Player.🧱🏆
2019 National Champion
Heart. Toughness. Versatility. Energy
He was the player who could carry the spirit of the coaching staff into the locker room and make everybody want to fight with him
“Coach, I got you.”
And he always did.
Ameer Biddle
🏆 2019 National Champion
🛡️ 2019 Defensive Player of the Year
⭐ 2019 All-American
🥇 2019 All-Conference
✈️ 5 Year Pro Overseas
One of the best defensive players I ever coached - Maybe The Best
My First Ever Defensive Player of the Year
Khalil White. 🏆
Came off the bench.
Became a leading scorer.
1st Team All-American.
1,000-point scorer.
National Champion.
He sacrificed for the team — and the game gave it back.
“Your role doesn’t determine your value. What you do with your role does.”
Kevin Silverberg — A True Champion. 🏆
The best shooter I ever coached.
2019 National Champion.
2019 National 3-Point Champion.
3 National Tournament appearances.
But his greatest impact was the standard he helped set for the guards who came after him.
2018–19 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS 🏆
Before the banners and 3 rings, there was a foundation.
Leroy “Pops” Hammett. Ray Harris. Darien Wingate.
They believed in the vision, poured into our players & helped build the culture that changed everything.
📘 #TheSmallCollegeBlueprint
Shakur Jackson was one of the foundations of our culture at PSWB.
He bought into the vision, led by example and helped pave the way for the success that followed.
Some players leave stats.
Shakur left a legacy.
📘 The Small College Blueprint
Donte Adams was my first superstar.
My first 1,000-point scorer. An NJCAA All-American. A National Tournament player.
But more than that, he helped me believe the national stage was possible.
Some players change your team. Donte changed my journey. @Cecil_Bball
Jheron “Rondo” Dawson-Johnson didn’t just play point guard — he helped carry the culture.
Leader. Standard-setter. National Champion.
When the players start protecting the standard without the coach in the room, that’s when you know the culture is real.
Scott Slade was more than a good player at Cecil.
He helped shape my vision for a players-first program — one where players feel supported, challenged, valued and believed in
Some players help you win games
Others help shape the coach you become
📘 The Small College Blueprint
OWNERSHIP CHANGES EVERYTHING.
You can teach the culture, demand the standard and hold players accountable.
But when the players start teaching it, protecting it and holding each other accountable…
It’s no longer just your program. It’s theirs.
📘 The Small College Blueprint
Colton Lewis was a forefather of my era at PSWB.
He became our first pro during my time and showed that small college players could become professionals.
His success helped open the door for the class that later won a national championship.
Colton showed what was possible.
The proof copy has arrived. 📘
One step closer to putting The Small College Blueprint in the hands of coaches, players, and program builders.
Final read. Final details. Then it’s go time.
Coming Soon.

Chris Cantine was one of the forefathers of my era at PSWB.
Before the championships and banners, guys like Chris helped lay the foundation.
Some players leave after graduation. Others leave a presence that stays.
Chris left bricks. 🧱
#TheSmallCollegeBlueprint#PSWB
THE CHAMPIONSHIP WAS THE RESULT.
THE CULTURE WAS THE WORK. 🏆
The rings came later.
First came the standards, discipline, accountability, relationships & daily work.
Build the culture first.
#TheSmallCollegeBlueprint#ChampionshipCulture
THE FOUNDATION. 🧱🏀
Before the championships, there were players who helped build the standard.
Colton brought toughness, intelligence & work ethic.
Chris brought heart, selflessness & leadership.
Different players. Same purpose. Building a legacy
#TheSmallCollegeBlueprint
THE FOUNDATION. 🧱🏀
Cecil helped shape the Blueprint. Penn State Wilkes-Barre took it to another level.
People. Culture. Standards. Development.
Then came the championships. 🏆🏆🏆
Build it right. Build it to last.
#TheSmallCollegeBlueprint
THE FOUNDATION. 🧱🏀
Before the National Championships, there was Cecil College.
2012–13 Region Champions
Develop players. Create opportunity. Build culture.
This is where the Blueprint started taking shape.
