In the transfer portal era, so much of the focus is about players that leave a school. But there's a select few that take advantage of the opportunity to come back.
My latest for @testudotimes 👇
In December 2024, Preston Howard announced he would transfer away from the University of Maryland.
Just over a year later, he came back, giving the Terps a veteran leader and giving himself one last year with his hometown team.

Maryland women’s lacrosse has a history of developing all-around midfielders who can contribute on offense, defense and the draw circle.
Kori Edmondson is the latest, following in the footsteps of such standouts as Caitlyn McFadden, Katie Schwarzmann, Taylor Cummings and Zoe Stukenberg. Those four all-time greats were all winners of the prestigious Tewaaraton Award.
Edmondson has been a rare four-year starter and two-year captain for the Terps, who advanced to the Final Four for the 29th time in program history. No. 3 seed Maryland will face No. 2 seed North Carolina on Friday in Evanston, Illinois.

The University of Maryland football team hosted dozens of children and adults with disabilities for a special event.
The Terps teamed up with the Beautiful Lives Project to give people with disabilities the chance to participate in a sport that may not have been accessible to them otherwise. FOX 5 photojournalist Ed Coker takes us there.
Such a great day in the city today. Minus the score of the game 😂 The Nelly concert was so much fun. Seeing everyone of all ages, races, religions dancing and having a ball in their Orioles gear……that’s our Baltimore! Now if the O’s could get it together lol. GO O’S!!
