@PeterStuart3 Judging from the chart you’d have to drop the confidence level to around 50% to reject the null hypothesis, meaning that Pantani and Pogacar were producing similar powers.
@PeterStuart3 If anything your infographic suggests that the null hypothesis of Pantani’s time being equal to Pogi’s can’t be rejected at the 90% confidence level, which is the lower bound for statistical significance in most fields. In other words there is no evidence of what you state.
@EU_Commission New regulations that only drive the already inflated price of new cars further up. Once again consumer surplus is erased through top-down regulations that the market doesn’t ask for and only benefit Asian manufacturing to which European will outsource this tech.
@FrenchResponse Yes, indeed when a restaurant is found to be serving expired food we usually impose an extra fee on clients to incentivize them to pay more attention while the price of the menu still remains 3 times cheaper than anywhere else
@HennaVirkkunen How is fairness increased when the cost of operating a local business makes the final price 3-5x that of Temu even after a 3€ fee?
And if you care about safety standards, enforce stricter controls and impose fines.
@EU_Commission With the Green Deal you killed the Euro automotive industry, increased cars prices, opened the way to Chinese manufacturers and now you charge common people 3€ on a 0.5€ USB cable.
@EU_Commission You didn’t care so much about protecting our local businesses from Amazon 15 years ago, you didn’t incentivize innovation, you just stifled it with endless bureaucracy and regulations. Now you charge us 3€ on a 0.5€ USB cable that will still be manufactured in China.
@EU_Commission Manufacturing still in China and cheap, local stores don’t benefit as the price gap remains high, low-income consumers bear the highest cost, bureaucracy increases, no innovation incentives and safety standards are not improved 😂
@EU_Commission If the objective is to enforce safety compliance then introduce stricter controls and fines, the 3€ duty is simply going to be passed onto end consumers and it’s already happening in real time on Temu or AliExpress
