Because of their efforts, SB315 just passed its third reading.

@LtGovTX We strongly support The SMART Act, which has been filed as HB 1655, HB 3520, and HB 2285. The 3 bills contain that same language which would raise the minimum age requirement for employment in SOB's from 18 to 21.

Based on risks, our Texas values set the legal age of 21 to drink alcohol, smoke tobacco & vapor products. The risks associated with sexually oriented businesses clearly warrant the 21+ legal designation also.
