Stage artist Turbo went all out to individually animate each gear on this stage. It's always a lot of fun to see us undertaking challenges as a team that seemed completely impossible years ago.
@Mr2Secs Removal of bigger lay-outs is something we're aware of, we understand the concern. We see these stages as natural evolutions of their previous versions, so we personally don't feel there is much point in porting older stages forward that we've since updated.
@saylowntsuki Right now it's not something we're actively planning. It would take a lot of time and effort to make battlefield and final destination graphics for each scenario.
The animated gears certainly add a lot of flair to the dastardly Dr. Wily's next fortress. Get ready to gear up for action when the next update drops!
Big shout-outs to Turbo and Zero Insanity for the spriting and codework for the stage respectively.
A big goal was to make the stage feel like it was a chunk right out of a Mega Man level; as such the stage features various platforming obstacles such as warping platforms and conveyer belts. Stay on your toes when the fighting hears up, literally!
