$MORN $SPGI $FDS $CME $CBOE $TW $MKTX All trade as one basket regardless of individual valuations/narratives. All of these names have really lagged the financial services index so there are a lot of room for catchup at very low historic multiples too
$TW +6% this morning after getting some love from Goldman: "Recent weakness disconnected from fundamentals"
I'd day $CME $MKTX $CBOE $NDAQ have been experiencing the same disconnect so should see the whole sector get a lift today
I'm already long one of the bond exchanges, but the
$CME down 28% in a month probably has never happened before and $CBOE down 40% in a month has definitely never happened before and is 100% irrational in terms of velocity/time frame. Never thought I'd see that in an exchange
$GAP Really nice setup at the bottom end of its range over the last 2 yrs. A sell at 28-29 and buy at 18-19 has been a great trade each time. Oil down over 30% in a month can only help Gap as well. Nice risk/reward trade to the long side here
If you want to see any rallies in these beaten down software names you need to see a lot of air come out of names like $MU $SNDK $MRVL
$NOW $MSFT $INTU $HUBS $ADBE can easily bounce 25-40% if these AI chip/memory names pull back 30%
@taobanker I have always considered the exchanges as duopolies and do not take all the Kalshi news as a threat to their moats. I personally like the bond exchanges TW + MKTX. I just see AI benefitting them, not hurting them. But right now, the market strongly disagrees
Financials quietly rocking but getting no talk with all the AI hype. $JPM $BAC new ATH's today. $GS $MS right on the doors of ATH. I expect major laggards in the financial space to play some catch up such as the M&A Advisors like $MC $HLI and exchanges like $CME $CBOE $NDAQ
$DPZ Weekly: This $290-300 zone was major resistance from 2018-2020. Price has now checked back down to this level - it should act as support now. I except a nice ricochet, especially with the big pullback in oil prices and strength in other restaurants. Good catchup play
$MSFT Getting a bid right at an enormous support level. It's a big component of $IGV so you really need to see this level hold if you want to see software make any type of sustainable rally.
I never thought I'd see the day where some of these SaaS names now trade at lower multiples than regional banks $INTU is racing with $ADBE to see who can trade at 5x earnings
$SAP -45% from its ATH just last June seems way overdone. Ik all these software names are dealing with AI penetration, but SAP is going nowhere and getting it at 22x earnings, 4.5x sales is incredible value
$NDAQ -4% in sympathy of the $CME news. 83-85 is very strong support and it's already -15% from its ATH. Nasdaq is a duopoly and getting the $SPCX listing and having that go so well bodes well for getting Anthropic and OpenAI. Great setup here if looking as a long-term investor
$CME -4% on CEO transition looks like a great buying opp. This 248-251 zone is enormous support + getting a long-term compounder w/ a tremendous moat 27% off its high is a gift imo
Contrary to popular belief $NFLX is not -4% today because it didn't buy $ROKU. Netflix has been in a downtrend for 12 months and has lagged $QQQ badly. Stocks in downtrends tend to stay in them. However, I think $75 is a great entry at really big support. That's your chance
$LYV LIVE Nation
Very hated company, but the stock in on the verge of a 10 month consolidation and major BO. For an economy that people question, people are still flocking to concerts it looks like
$RL Ralph Lauren
One of the strongest stocks out there. Higher oil and recent mkt turbulence and the stock hasn't even budged to the downside. This 7-month long consolidation is about to get resolved to the upside as the more knocks on resistance, eventually it gives
$NOW Was +50% in 1 month until pulling back 30% the last 2 weeks is quite insane, but this kind of volatility will be here for the intermediate future for all $IGV names. $ADBE $HUBS two of the biggest software names on verge of cracking their recent lows is horrible price action
