#bluewatch spent the afternoon at the Arnofini today. Another pub/club/bar within the city centre waterfront trained on how to use throwlines! Let's hope they never have to use thier new skills tho. #StayOutTheWater#DontDrinkAndDrown#MatesMatter
Baroness Lawrence comments on C4 news tonight, โif Grenfell was full of white people, LFB would have tried harder to get them outโ!
What a disgusting thing to say and extremely damaging!
Great afternoon today delivering throw line and water safety training to staff at the Pump House, Bristol. ๐๐
Good work Bedminster White Watch! ๐
Weโve had a brilliant morning delivering water safety training to staff at the @Spoke_Stringer. First response like this helps save and we are delighted another water front establishment worked with us on this. Want to get involved? #MatesMatter#Dontdrinkanddrown

Apple is asking its customers with 15in MacBook Pro laptops sold between Sept 2015 and Feb 2017 to stop using the machines immediately due to a battery fire safety risk. Apple will replace batteries free of charge, check if you have an affected product: https://t.co/octH4Ml1Sb
We will also be providing @wshed with a water rescue pack that includes throw lines, thermal blankets, hand sanitiser and a torch - everything they need to help keep themselves and the public safe. #NotJustFires#RespectTheWater
This is part of a drive to half all water related deaths. Staff on the waterfront can make a huge difference in reducing response time, with each minute a casualty is in the water increasing the risk.
๐ฆ๐ฆ #BlueWatch have been with @wshed this afternoon teaching them about water safety and how to rescue a casualty should they fall into the water. We spoke to staff about the dangers of water, cold water shock, and how to correctly use a throw line.
As well as the training we provide to them, clubs and pubs's staffs working close to #BristolDocks will soon be supplied with an emergency water rescue bag. They will be able to safely and effectively secure a casualty until the arrival of our water rescue team! #bewateraware
Today #WeRemember the 56 people who sadly lost their lives in the Bradford City FC Stadium fire, 1985. After Hillsborough, the fire was the second worst sporting tragedy in England https://t.co/Cny5WWxk7M
@dansearle79@nickolls_andy Hi Dan. There are two throw lines, a torch, various thermal blankets and anti bacterial hand wash. We paid for this prototype and will be looking for further funding from the Bristol Water Safety Partnership at the next meeting this Monday. Hope this helps? ๐
