James Milner retiring means 2026-27 will be the first English top-flight season since 1956-57 that will not feature a single player who played under Sir Bobby Robson.
Today is May 1st. In 16 days time the FA Cup final takes place, the flagship match of the season in what is "The World's greatest domestic cup competition".
The kick off time and ticket prices are still 'To Be Determined'
Ever get the impression that fans are a pesky afterthought for the FA and broadcasters, safe in the knowledge that they will turn up for the final whatever the circumstances?
All three sides promoted to the Premier League last season played at home this weekend. All three conceded four goals and as for the table…yet according to the Premier League the competitive balance between the two divisions is good
@EdBaker97 Did they? I don’t recall that. Just think it would be iconic. Need something unique that the whole ground would sing though like Forest of Shef U with greasy chip butty
The run shouldn't have ended today, just imagine what a replay back in Market Harborough live on terrestrial television, not to mention a place in the 3rd round draw, would have done for the club and town.
🚜 Can we take a minute and give some credit to Kieran McKenna and Ipswich?
Everything before the game, and probably after the game, will be about Ruben Amorim and Man Utd, but the Tractor Boys played brilliantly today.
They deserve some credit. 💪

@paulitfc68@_kieranbl Really! Pretty sure the first one that got down to 5+ points was Middlesbrough? May be wrong but that was the first I can remember we could get tickets for
@_kieranbl Get where you’re coming from but we’ve been able to get away tickets for the previous 15 years on season tickets (even Norwich) just a bit gutted my boys have been coming with me home and away through all the dross and now can’t get tickets for the big away days
