When a man finds that it is his destiny to suffer, he will have to accept his suffering as his task; his single and unique task. He will have to acknowledge the fact that even in suffering he is unique and alone in the universe.
She is Dr Vatsala Agarwal.
In August last year, she was appointed Director General Health Services of Delhi. She wasted no time and immediately started buying medicines and equipments at highly inflated rates by allegedly manipulating the tender processes, misusing hundreds of crores in public funds. By the time the Delhi police arrested her today, she had already allegedly created a health scam worth 600 crores.
Almost everyone in govt service, from top to bottom, seems to make massive money whenever an opportunity arises. Imagine the scale of systemic corruption if a single official can siphon off 600 crore rupees in less than a year. And it's not like she was honest for her 30 years of service till now, and suddenly turned corrupt; she only got caught now. Her life long scam would be much more than 600 crores.
It is truly surprising that India continues to grow despite such staggering leaks in the system.
One of the most interesting social trends in the US right now is the rise of the ‘tradwife’ - the traditional wife.
For decades the message was clear: study, work, earn, be independent.
And that was necessary. Because for a long time women weren’t given that choice at all. So feminism gave women freedom.
But something unexpected happened.
Many women got the career. And kept the house, the children, the mental load, the emotional labour. And were told this was empowerment.
Modern independence didn’t reduce the burden. It doubled it. One full-time job outside the home. One full-time job inside it.
That’s where the tradwife trend is coming from.
These women aren’t rejecting education or ambition. They’re rejecting exhaustion.
They were told they could have it all. Nobody mentioned that ‘having it all’ meant ‘doing it all.’
Doing it all isn’t freedom. It’s burnout with better branding.
The real problem was never homemaking. It was dependency without protection. A woman who chooses home from a position of strength, in a secure marriage with respect and financial dignity - that can be a good life.
A woman who ends up there by default, financially trapped with the wrong man - that’s a different story entirely.
So romanticising tradwife life blindly is stupid. But mocking it is equally stupid. Because most women aren’t running away from ambition. They’re running away from a broken deal.
The deal that said: work like a man, compete like a man, earn like a man - then come home and still do everything the traditional woman was expected to do. That deal was always unfair.
In India this conversation will get more interesting.
Because India never fully left the traditional model. A lot of Indian men still want educated women who are also homely. Modern income, traditional behaviour, same person.
So when tradwife arrives in India it won’t use that word.
It’ll come as soft life, feminine energy, provider husband, peace over corporate slavery.
And it will appeal to women who are tired of the grind, tired of dating apps, tired of performing everywhere all the time.
But here’s the hard truth: most men can’t afford a tradwife. Single income doesn’t stretch across rent, EMIs, school fees, healthcare, parents, lifestyle. This model works for top-income households. For everyone else it stays Instagram fantasy.
Feminism wasn’t wrong. But the version sold to us was incomplete. It gave women work. It didn’t remove the domestic burden.
So now some women are asking a fair question: what exactly did I win if I have to do everything?
That question deserves a real answer.
Tradwife isn’t the death of feminism. It’s a reaction to burnout. A signal that freedom can’t mean everyone must choose the same life.
The best choice is the one made from strength, not exhaustion.
Be ordinary. There is nothing wrong with an ordinary life. Wake up slowly. Make your coffee. Cook simple meals. Go for walks. Love people who match your vibe. Do honest work. But the thing is... bring your whole awareness to it. Every little thing you do, be there. That’s what changes everything. Stop rushing through life. When you are fully present, even the simplest things become beautiful. A quiet morning. A good conversation. A book in your hands. The warm sun on your skin. Stop trying so hard to create a special life. A special life is the one that aligns with your heart. Live an ordinary life with extraordinary awareness. That’s what makes it special.
i have no desire to be rich so i can buy a rolex or a lamborghini.
i want to be rich so i can control my time and go to the gym at 3pm on a monday.
sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon.
so i can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients.
spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget.
that's my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.
Robert Greene was right when he said learn by doing.
“The brain is designed to learn through constant repetition and active, hands-on involvement. Through such practice and persistence, any skill can be mastered.”
Behind the need to prove is fear.
Behind the need to explain is doubt.
Behind the need to impress is emptiness.
Heal and watch how quiet and powerful your life becomes.

Don't ever get it twisted,
Kobe Bryant once said:
“Everyone wants to be a beast. Everyone wants to be the best. But very few people are willing to do what it actually takes. Because what it takes is boring. It is waking up at 4:00 AM. It is shooting the same shot a thousand times. It is watching the film when you are tired. People fall in love with the result, but they hate the process. You have to fall in love with the boredom. You have to fall in love with the repetition.
If you can find joy in the mundane work that no one else sees, the lights will eventually shine on you.”
Normalize being very direct, very straight to the point and very assertive. A surprising amount of tension in adult life exist because people avoid saying what they actually mean.
I don't know why men don't understand that the happiness of a marriage is in the husband's hands. It's not in the wife's hands. Because a woman is responsive, she reflects and amplifies what she consistently receives from him over time.
Give her attention, reassurance, and respect. She naturally gives back more than most men expect. Make her feel chosen, valued, and seen, and she connects more deeply without needing to be forced. But give her neglect, criticism, or silence, and her warmth slowly fades without you even noticing.
A woman mirrors the emotional environment. When she feels safe, she relaxes. When not, she protects herself. She doesn't wake up wanting to be difficult and she becomes distant when she feels unseen or unappreciated.
Nurture her and she grows. Hurt her repeatedly and she adapts by pulling back emotionally over time. The version of her a man experiences often comes from what he consistently gives, not just what he expects.
Woman
• changes her name
• changes her home
• leaves her family
• moves in with you
• builds a home with you
• gets pregnant for you
• pregnancy changes her body
• she gets fat
• almost gives up in the labour room due to
• the unbearable pain of childbirth
• even the kids she delivers bear your name
Till the day she dies, everything she does—cooking, cleaning your house, taking care of your parents, bringing up your children, earning, advising you, ensuring you can be relaxed, maintaining all family relations, everything that benefits you—sometimes at the cost of her own health, hobbies and beauty.
Dear men, appreciate the women in your lives always.
“Speak to your children as if they are the wisest, kindest, most beautiful and magical humans on earth, for what they believe is what they will become.”
"How to kill a woman without leaving a trace" was googled 163 million times in 2025. But it's okay let's talk about alimony and the male loneliness epidemic.
