MoFA Mitra App Launched !

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially launched MoFA Mitra, a mobile application developed by the Department of Consular Services to bring consular support closer to Nepali citizens abroad.

What MoFA Mitra offers:

- Register consular concerns and grievances online
- Receive timely updates on submitted requests
- Track the real-time status of each request
- Communicate directly with the concerned Nepali Mission

The app is designed for both Nepali citizens abroad and their families back home, ensuring faster and more transparent resolution of consular issues.

Crossing a Street in Kathmandu - Don’t Die
Here’s an early morning, not too much traffic, street crossing in Kathmandu. No street lights, no cross walks, no lines in the road……..just flow. “Rule of Hierarchy”: the Biggest thing has the right of way”. Trucks over cars, cars over motorcycles, etc etc. Humans?……are the last in line. Rule of thumb…..keep moving with the flow, don’t stop.

Well, when a child is conceived, the DNA split is 50/50 from both parents. Except for one small detail: mitochondrial DNA. It’s passed down only through the mother and never through sperm.
Which means something interesting: all living humans can trace their mitochondrial line back to one woman, not one man.
And every daughter born continues passing that same line forward.

- Please help coordinate cleanup your sorrounding areas that are damaged.
- Inform Security about Fire and other issues
- Help maintain peace in your neighbourhood
- Request hotel owners to help stranded people
- Help stranded people by managing transportation facilities
- Make everyone feel safe
- Arrange food for needy people
- Check on hospitals if anything is needed there
- Check on neighbours if they are facing any problems
- Help arrange medicines for needy people

It is time to Unite & Rebuild the country we have always dreamt of! There is no looking back now!
