JUST IN: Five people have been stabbed in a mass attack inside Penn Station in New York City Sunday evening — an unidentified “emotionally disturbed” suspect is in custody, according to The New York Post.

New York Post: “Five people were rushed to Bellevue Hospital, including one person with serious injuries, two people with moderate injuries, and two others with minor injuries, fire officials said.”

“An unidentified suspect is in custody, authorities added. The individual is believed to be emotionally disturbed, according to sources.”

New Yorkers are tired of the lawlessness. They are tired of watching violent offenders and the mentally ill cycle through the system while innocent people pay the price.

The Attorney General has the power to step in when the system fails—to prosecute crime, house the homeless, and take the mentally ill and drug addicted off our streets and out of our transit systems before they hurt themselves or others.

"I was right there. That guy was like medium height black guy with grey hair. He came downstairs and was making weird noises and was looking at me and my mom. Right then he pulled a knife and stabbed a black guy on neck who was standing on the left side. He was about to come hit me but few white dudes rushed to protect everyone and we all ran back. It was very chaotic and a very unsafe situation. I didn’t know he hit 5 people but I saw him hit one with my eyes right in front of me"
