The Flagstaff Star Chasers announce the hiring of Kevin Kimball as their new coach for the 2023 season. Kimball was the long time head coach at Phoenix College and brings 14 years of collegiate coaching.The Star Chasers open June 4th in San Diego and their home slate June 6th.

The Star Chasers wrapped up their first season last weekend with a 6-game series with the D-1 laden Alaska Goldpanners. The Chasers dropped five of six, despite being tied or ahead in the 5th inning of four of the games. Flagstaff won the series finale 5-2, finishing 21-12.

The Star Chasers will work out this week in preparation for their final series in Fairbanks, Alaska, July 26-30. Flagstaff will face the legendary Goldpanners in a 6-game series. Games can be seen on YouTube Alaska Goldpanners.

The Flagstaff Star Chasers split a DH Saturday against the New Mexico Post 13, winning 14-4 and dropping the 2nd game 12-7. The loss ended a 16-game win streak for the Chasers . The first year club ended the home schedule 20-7 and will go on the road to end the inaugural season.
