The NBA’s two-minute report uncovers two officiating mistakes, and neither involved OG Anunoby’s block on Fox.
The first was Wemby should’ve been whistled for a defensive 3-second violation with 1:26 left.
The second was Josh Hart should’ve been whistled for a foul on Stephon Castle with 1:03 left.
On OG’s block on Fox, the NBA determined, “Anunoby makes a legal attempt to block Fox's shot and dislodges the ball from his control before making incidental arm contact.”
Entered the 4th trailing by 15 and were down 29 early in the 3rd last night.
Trailed by 20 with 7 MINS left in Game 1 of the ECF.
Two of the most unlikely playoff wins OF ALL TIME come in the same Finals run 😮💨
As if blowing a 29 point lead to then go down 3-1 in the NBA Finals wasn’t enough…
The Spurs are the only team in NBA history to have:
76 or more points in the first half
30 or fewer points in the second half
...in any game, regular season or playoffs.

Victor Wembanyama got caught reaching and restricting Karl-Anthony Towns on the drive. That arm was in jail. It’s called a defensive foul 99% of the time.
But not tonight, and not on Wemby. Because of course not. 🤨
It’s not even about my team losing….it's that this is objectively terrible basketball. The refs set a horrible tone early on, and the entire game just spiraled from there.
