Good.
Let me add the context you have left out.
The death was a Congolese national who’d travelled to Uganda as a health tourist.
Do not lump us with the DRC. It’s misinformation to do so.
The real Ebola problem is in the East of DRC.
Because of reckless narratives, livelihoods are being destroyed in Uganda.
Entire industries are being affected.
Due to the recent Ebola outbreak and in compliance with Ministry of Health guidelines, the Study in Australia Open Day scheduled for Saturday, 6 June 2026 with Mr. Jonny Hunter has been postponed until further notice.
However, our offices will remain open for a FREE Consultation & Inquiry Day on Saturday, 6 June 2026, from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, where students can receive guidance and answers to their questions about studying in Australia.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we prioritize the health and safety of our community.

We need to come up with a list of these News companies and we sue them as a country.
No wander mainstream media is dead. This looks like a paid smear campaign!!!
Lawyers on X, is there anything we can do?
@AJENews Stop this nonsensical reporting. No Ugandan has died of Ebola. When you cluster the two countries together, you are making a very big mistake.
Let us speak with epidemiological discipline. Let the record be clean.
👉If there are Ebola deaths in Uganda, state them with source, district, date, and confirmation.
👉If the deaths are in DRC, do not baptise Uganda into another nation’s mortality statistics.
👉If the number is regional, say regional.
👉If the risk is cross-border, say cross-border.
Public health communication must inform without inflaming, warn without wounding, and protect without creating unnecessary panic.
Facts are not decoration. In an outbreak, facts are medicine.

Speaking at the ongoing #ConstructUgandaExpo and #PowerAndEnergyExpo at UMA Show Grounds, Hon. David Bahati, Minister of State for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, welcomed delegates from different parts of the world attending the Expo.
He encouraged visitors to explore Uganda’s beauty, including the national parks, the Source of the Nile, and local cuisine. He also highlighted investment opportunities in Uganda’s construction sector, noting that the country imports over USD 1 billion worth of steel despite having significant iron ore deposits.
“We hope that after this Exhibition, you will find opportunities to invest in this country,” he said, while also urging Ugandans to take advantage of the Expo and learn from the exhibitors.
