[Pope Francis – ARCHIVE @Pontifex266Arch]

Today, too, let us join in prayer with the Christian community of Sri Lanka, which was struck by terrible violence on Easter Sunday. We entrust to the risen Lord the victims, the wounded and all the suffering. #PrayForSriLanka

“Yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.”
John 16:2 #sirilanka

Again, a faith community callously attacked while praying

Prayers for #SriLanka Christians mourning on a day meant to be one of celebration with family and friends, and all affected by #SriLankaBlasts

May the God of comfort grant us to be like-minded toward one another. Rom15:5

We prayed vesper prayers and were blessed to hear deacon Hany Iskander’s sermon. The message today is that our Lord Jesus Christ didn’t come to raise Lazarus from the dead to fulfill a need but to declare that He is what we need. A nice message to get us to start #HolyWeek

They asked and elder, "What is humility?" The elder said, "When your brother sins against you, and you forgive him, before he repents before you."

Thankful to @ForeignOffice Sectetary @Jeremy_Hunt for commissioning a report on the phenomenon of the persecution of Christians around the world, and looking forward to working with friends @TariqAhmadBT and @JustinWelby to continue to champion this cause.
