The Special Assistant to the Deputy Senate President, Sen. Barau Jibrin, has resigned from office, dumped the APC, and declared his support for Atiku Abubakar in Kano on Saturday.

He cited Tinubu’s failures and the way this government has sidelined the North while favouring only the President’s own state and region.

I am 100% with the El-Rufai family on this. The Defence Minister has truly shown his colours. What makes it even more disappointing is that El-Rufai stood firmly by him when it mattered, only for him to turn around and betray him, and by extension, the Muslims of Kaduna & Nig.
