A big thanks to those that came to our charity coffee morning to raise money for the wonderful ‘With Love Steph.’ The money raised will help support many children with illnesses and disabilities. A special thanks to our Mini Vinnies who who helped to organise this lovely event 💖
The children in the Early Years were very happy to have a visit from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue yesterday! They were very excited to meet the firefighters, sit in the Fire Engine and spray the hose! We heard about the many ways they keep people safe. Thank you from SMW!
We had the pleasure of welcoming volunteers from the charity ‘With Love Steph’ to our whole school assembly this week. It was wonderful to hear about the great work that they do to raise money and bring smiles to the faces of children suffering from illnesses and disabilities. 💖

The children at SMW have enjoyed drawing their self-portrait this half-term. It is wonderful to see all the fabulous art work taking place and the progression from Nursery to Year 6.
This morning, we came together to celebrate a whole-school Mass. We were thinking about the new academic year and Harvest. The children were brilliant - their singing, reading and actions helped to get the day off to a fabulous start. Thanks to Fr Ned for his support.🙏
It’s Bikeability time for Year 6. The weather was cold and wet, but the children had a positive attitude and were fabulous. Thanks to @ncagb for being so brilliant to work with.
Year 6 children have collected apples from the trees on our school grounds. They look delicious. 🍎🍏Next week, Cathy will use them in the school kitchen to make a dessert. 😀
In memory of our friend and colleague, Mrs Maclure, it was a pleasure to present an award in her memory. It was lovely to welcome Sophie to recognise the outstanding achievement of one of our pupils. We are very proud of Hannah. Well done and thank you!⭐️🏆🏅🙂
