@KevinRampling Andrew Bridgend is the MP who said on NI radio that being English entitled him to an Irish passport before being corrected by an incredulous presenter. He also thinks soldiers who murder completely innocent civilians in the UK shouldn't be prosecuted if the victims were N. Irish.

@ByDonkeys @gavinesler Don't forget the government has used Brexit to put in health restrictions. For example pets travelling with their owners on a weekend trip from Belfast to Glasgow will be destroyed or quarantined unless they have up to date rabies vaccinations. So that's a relief 🙄

@yamaking666 @DavidRandall_ You should vote for political parties that try to represent all the UK. At the moment I think it is exclusively the green party who don't exclude national groups from their invited electorate. The others disenfranchise N.Ireland. No Tory candidates=no Tory voters to look after.

People are still discovering the truth, slowly, as we sift through the lies. I didn't lose EU citizenship, I lost all sense that we in NI are welcome in the UK.

@mikegalsworthy The difference is that the EU was closing the border after listening to false conspiracy theories that we were smuggling vaccines through NI while Johnson is being forced to acknowledge the empty food shelves, the threats of violence against customs staff and to pretend he cares.

@zugzwang79 @VeraHiggs @GeordieJoeHardy Their policies are fairly similar, we don't have a conservative party here, Tory supporters in NI almost exclusively vote for unionist parties and the DUP are the biggest of them. Do you support the north of England getting money for their votes?

They might learn something.
NI's problems are complicated, but not unfathomable. The two sides need to stop poking at what they don't understand and ask how they can help.

Why is it ok to give extra money to the poorest regions in England, but not to the even poorer region of NI?
