Trump is asking the Supreme Court to hear his birthright citizenship case once more, petitioning on grounds of urgency and abuse of the system.

While rarely granted, the case may be heard again in a few weeks if a Justice in the majority supports a rehearing.

Barrett, who has sided with Trump more often than not, is more likely to hear the argument and side with Trump than other majority justices, including Roberts, Kagan, Sotomayor, and Brown-Jackson.

While a re-hearing does not guarantee a win, if one of the Justices defects, Trump could potentially overturn the case and get a landmark decision.
