It was such a peaceful movement, feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to know n see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, and their parents supported them.

I truly appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity, and keenness to study hard n make their future and a greater, educated India. This andolan, this protest, is the right way to go abt it, n the students have done this peacefully. So courageous and brave. Driven and motivated towards education, this generation will make India proud.

This issue is between the students and the educational system, it should not be hijacked politically, the credit should only go to the students of our country, and I am sure the government will also give them all the support n make it a stronger educational system. It’s a win-win situation. Hoping n praying for a positive decision. God bless all of you who wanna be educated.

Education should be the next trend and fashion, and should get trendier n more fashionable yr by yr, itna k bahar se log come to India to study and India becomes an educational hub.

Today in Parliament, I raised concerns affecting India’s prepaid recharge customers, who account for nearly 90% of the country’s 125 crore mobile users.

(1)
If a recharge expires, stopping outgoing calls may be understandable. But why are incoming calls stopped as well? Once validity ends, people cannot be reached, and even essential messages like bank OTPs may not come through. In emergencies or urgent situations, this can leave a person completely cut off.

My demands: First is that incoming calls and SMS should continue for at least one year after the last recharge so essential communication does not stop. Second, a mobile number should not be deactivated for at least three years after the last recharge. Third, telecom operators should introduce a low cost “incoming only” plan for users who simply need their number to remain active for essential calls, OTPs and government services.

I also raised the issue of 28 day recharge “monthly” plans. If something is called monthly, it should follow the calendar month of 30–31 days. Because of the 28 day cycle, consumers effectively end up paying for 13 recharges in a year. (28 days × 13 recharges = 364 days)

Telecom Operators should sync up their Recharge Plans with the true calendar months, and not 28 day plans.

A mobile phone today is not a luxury. It is a lifeline.

Prepaid recharge customers deserve fairness and transparency. Not clever fine print.

Prepaid Recharge Customers के साथ हो रही लूट का मुद्दा आज मैंने Parliament में उठाया।

(a) अगर आपका recharge खत्म हो जाए तो Outgoing Calls बंद होना समझ में आता है, लेकिन Incoming Calls बंद करना मनमानी है।रिचार्ज खत्म होते ही न कोई आपसे संपर्क कर सकता है और न ही आपके फोन पर OTP जैसे जरूरी मैसेज आ पाते हैं। Emergency के हालातों में व्यक्ति बेसहारा हो जाता है।

(b) 28 दिन का Recharge plan ���क scam है। साल में महीने 12 होते हैं लेकिन रिचार्ज 13 बार करवाना पड़ता है (28 days x 13 times = 364 days).
Recharge plan की वैधता calender months (30–31 दिन) के हिसाब से होनी चाहिए, क्योंकि 28 दिन के चक्कर में लोगों को साल भर में एक अतिरिक्त रिचार्ज करवाना पड़ता है।

मोबाइल आज के समय में Luxury नहीं, बल्कि आम नागरिक की Necessity बन चुका है।

इसलिए टेलीकॉम कंपनियों को उपभोक्ताओं के साथ Fair और Transparent रवैया रखना चाहिए।
