@DrPlantel It can be in the form of speaking engagements. It isn't for generics for sure. In 2009 or so I looked up my psychiatrist and he was getting 50K or so. Not sure if that is still a thing. Doesn't seem like enough to make a big deal in how he treated me.

@jeremyct When prices rise because of temporary factors like tariffs or higher energy prices they can come back down. Automation and technology can also lower costs. Many items stayed flat or lowered - see computers, tvs etc.

@thisisnew_me1 When an area is growing demand for services also rises. Especially when people with a lot of money start moving in. They do things like demand their road be plowed in a little town with only 15K people and rare snow. They already worked double shifts to clear the main roads.

@DecodingFoxNews The military has to provide chaplains for all the religions it recognizes. Think of dying soldiers being attended in a hospital or hospice. Very often one person must serve a multiple number of religions.

@drterrysimpson I don't have a problem with LDL causing heart disease. But I read up on the PCSK9 gene and it seems weird to be disabling something that seems to let the cell adjust uptake. Famine or pregnancy comes to mind. Are they targeting the liver or other specific organs?

@ai_sentience No one can prove that statement. Never is a long time. We don't need consciousness in our silicon tools, we need them to be capable of learning. They don't need to have an experience of Red to be useful. Right now silicon is not reproducing itself so emerge is not a thing.
