There is a story about my trading journey that I have never properly told.
In 2021, after losing my mother, life became extremely difficult for me. I was still in college, my father was already very old and battling sickness, and even getting money for transportation and food to return to school was a serious problem.
Then one day, I opened Twitter. The first post I saw was from @KojoForex. He was doing a giveaway and asked people to drop their MoMo numbers. I had never participated in anything like that before, but I dropped mine.
Within minutes, I received a GH₵500 MoMo alert from Bright Kojo Onipayede. I did not even know his real name was Bright.
That GH₵500 meant more to me than he could have imagined. I used part of it to get back to school and the rest for food and other basic needs.
But looking back now, I realize the biggest thing he gave me was not the GH₵500. It was exposure.
I asked myself, “What does this guy actually do that allows him to help so many people he does not even know?”
I went to his page. I saw MT5 screenshots. I did not even know what MT5 was. I followed his Telegram, went to his YouTube, and that was where I discovered Forex trading.
I started learning from YouTube because I could not afford a mentor. I reached out to several traders, but some mentorships were $350, $400 and beyond. That was completely out of reach for me.
Then I discovered Brad Goh (The Trading Geek) from Singapore. His beginner friendly content became a huge part of my learning journey. I also learned from creators like Happiness Hansen, Jeffrey Benson and Habby Forex.
Nobody sat beside me physically and taught me. I was simply watching, studying, failing, repeating and learning.
And by the grace of God, the young man who once struggled to find money just to return to school is now trading Forex and building a life from a skill he discovered through the internet.
@KojoForex probably does not know this story. He may not even remember that giveaway. But I remember.
That GH₵500 helped me get back to school, but his bigger impact was introducing me to a world I did not know existed.
This is why I will always respect that name.
Sometimes you think you are just posting content. Someone somewhere is watching from a difficult place, trying to understand what you are doing.
Sometimes you think you are just giving away money. Someone uses it to solve a problem you know nothing about.
Sometimes you think nobody is paying attention. Someone’s entire direction in life is changing quietly because of you.
That is impact.
To @KojoForex, thank you. You may never have known what that moment meant to me, but I will never forget it.
May God continue to bless the work of your hands and everyone whose life you have touched.
And to anyone reading this, never underestimate a small act of kindness. You may never know whose life you are helping to change.

Did you know? There is a dhikr so huge that the angels don’t know how to record its reward?
“Rabbana laka-l-hamdu hamdan kathīran ṭayyiban mubārakan fīh.”
رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ
The Prophet ﷺ heard a man say it in prayer, and later said:
“I saw over thirty angels rushing to see which of them would write it first.” Bukhari
