We are delighted to once again be competing in the STEM challenge hosted by Global Underwater Hub in Aberdeen. Today our team got a fantastic tour of the facilities at Fargo and tomorrow we'll take what we've learnt to the final. Wish us luck! @StNinians_Trips

As part of our new Light and Sound unit S2 pupils are tasked with researching and designing an academic poster on a topic of their choice. We then held a presentation where different classes got the opportunity to mix and ask questions. @stninianshigh

Unfortunately The Thermite Reaction was rained off at lunchtime today, but we stayed out to see @SNHSPhysics launching their rockets 🚀 all is not lost though as we will have one last BANG FRIDAYS 💥 next week as long as there’s no rain 🤞🏼 Mr Stevens will confirm.

S1 pupils have been visiting the Physics department all week to experience the fun the subject has to offer. We look forward to welcoming them and their parents back tomorrow for the S1 choices evening. @stninianshigh

A group of S5 pupils took part in the British Physics Olympiad online challenge. They gained 4 bronze and 7 silver awards. Congratulations 🎉 @stninianshigh

A group of S3 girls have given up the last day of their holiday to learn about Physics and Engineering with the @IOP. They are taking part in 8 workshops presented by unis and industry partners. @stninianshigh

Energy Quest kicked off again this morning with 1U. Over the next three days @Stemovators & @_EngineeringUK will deliver this Physics and Engineering workshop to every S1 pupil. @stninianshigh

Yesterday 70 S1 pupils took part in an amazing Physics and Engineering workshop delivered by @Stemovators and @_EngineeringUK. They powered lights with apples and created clean water. Over the next two weeks every S1 will take part. @stninianshigh
