Today our 7th/8th graders participated in the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Holy Fire retreat which is a day long retreat with prayer, speeches, and time for reflection about what it means to be a Christian in today’s time.

Our 6th graders in room 207 have been hard at work on their projects for Hispanic Heritage Month. Remember that if you would like to see theirs and all our students projects to tune in this Friday, on Facebook Live as we show off their work from 10:30am - 11:30am
Don't forget that tomorrow is picture day, students are asked to wear their dress school uniform (blue polo, blue pants, uniform skirt) or their Sunday Best. Remember that no jeans or gym shoes should be worn tomorrow.
Today we have our final root belief, that we believe that all children deserve a peaceful and safe learning environment. We are grateful for our faculty and staff who work hard to make our classrooms clean, safe, and peaceful to learn.
Today we are exploring our forth root belief. This is one that we hold especially scared because we try everyday to make sure everyone is welcomed within our doors and given the tools to succeed and grow.
Last week our 7th graders got to work with their partners and dissect owl pellets, they found bones from animals that the owl had eaten and then worked with diagrams to identify what animal the bones belonged to. It's amazing to see learning in action rather than just from a book

Had an amazing 1st all school mass today, it was so great to be together and celebrate the Eurichrist as a school again. Big thanks to Father Miguel for saying today's mass and providing a special blessing for our 8th graders
