Two months of updates just went live:
- A new desktop app for Mac and Windows, Linux soon
- Faster uploads, several files at a time
- A redesigned gallery with search
- Share private posts with up to 10 people
Get the desktop app at https://t.co/SM7zGARKb9
New for developers since August:
- API v3: one error shape, request IDs, cursor pagination, snake_case
- SDKs for JS, Python and Rust on 3.0.0
- File conversion on the API and Relay, at no quota cost
ShareX and XerahS configs keep working.
you clip something good, send it to the group chat, and it arrives looking like it was filmed through a window
that's the platform re-encoding it on the way, not your capture. paste a link instead and nothing touches the file
what's the worst one anyone's sent you
every screenshot tool gives you a link. the difference is what happens after you send it
no login wall, no full page ad, no "open in the app". whoever you sent it to just sees the thing
you get 2gb a week free, 50mb a file, and you pick private, unlisted or public per upload

Alongside the existing magic link and Discord methods, you can now log in with Google, GitHub, or X. Existing accounts are unaffected, so just pick whichever provider you already use.
The goal stays the same: let anyone access the platform however they prefer, no single provider required.

We're expanding our login methods to include email via magic links, allowing users to log in to Snipp without relying on Discord as the only option.
Logging in with Discord will remain available only for users who previously signed up with it (we're still working on Discord sign-ups for new users). We believe magic links are the way forward, as they let anyone, even those without a Discord account, access the platform.
