@_MissieBee I have taught in schools with very high EAL and recently arrived pupils. They usually use weaker synonyms to explain due to language acquisition. They clearly understand the text and question but are judged against fluent native speakers. They are gutted when they “fail”.
INCIDENT: We are currently monitoring an unidentified flying sleigh entering NATO airspace. The track originates from the North Pole and is flying an erratic path🎅 No NATO jets have been scrambled.

@richardaeden As long as they’ve done nothing then they shouldn’t be punished for their father’s(and mother’s)sins. They’re grandchildren of a sovereign. If they’ve been involved however, then it’s a different matter.
Trump links autism and Tylenol/Paracetamol: is there any truth to it?
Donald can share health information without robust data or research .. so I hope these studies help to show you the actual data - as what we are being told is #misinformation
Also to deny painrelief to women is another example of misogyny when Trumps administration has actively defunded research into #womenshealth care and #reproductive healthcare and allowing Bill gates foundation to pledge $2.5Billion into women’s healthcare - as a “business opportunity” 🤔

A little reminder for all parents with primary school aged children:
Yes, other kids can identify your child’s jumper from the smell of it.
But, it is just much easier for everyone if you just put the name in it.
Thanks.
YES YOU CAN: HRT edition
1. “can I manage my #menopausal symptoms without HRT” YES YOU CAN.
Look #systemic HRT is first line as per the NICE Menopause Guidance, but it’s not a silver bullet, it’s not a once size fits all and if you don’t take it DOES NOT mean you are putting your future health at risk
2. “can you take systemic HRT and localised vaginal Oestrogen together” YES YOU CAN. Some need localised vaginal treatment for Genitourinary syndrome of the menopause. Localised vaginal oestrogen is LOCAL and does not increase the risk of #clots or #breastcancer
3. “Can I take systemic HRT over the age of 60yrs old?” YES YOU CAN- some women who experience vasomotor symptoms or have #osteoporosis really benefit from systemic HRT. Each individual risk vs benefit needs to be assessed
4. “can I take localised vaginal oestrogen with my previous history of Breast Cancer?”
YES YOU CAN.
Always have a discussion with your HCP. If you have been placed on Tamoxifen then low dose vaginal oestrogen is safe to take for Genitourinary Syndrome of the Menopause. If you have been given aromatase inhibitors then- this is a nuanced conversation, the oncology doctors and the data shows that using Intrarosa DHEA is safe and doesn’t increase the risk of breast cancer - but be guided by your team.
Periods are MORE than just a monthly 🩸 bleed- it has a psychological impact too.
Here is a snippet of our discussion around why it’s important that parents - in particular #dads know about #periods.
Having a menstrual cycle is more than just the bleed, it affects the whole body & causes #psychological symptoms.
Endometriosis is a whole body, lifelong inflammatory condition whereby cells similar to the endometrial lining are deposited outside in the pelvis causes adhesions & scarring
Adenomyosis- is a lifelong, whole body condition whereby cells similar to the lining of the womb grown in the muscular wall of the uterus, causing inflammation and stiffening/ bulking of the uterus
PCOS is a lifelong, whole body metabolic condition that impacts insulin resistance and affects androgen levels. There can be cysts in the ovaries for some
Fibroids is a whole body condition that causes non-cancerous growths in and around the uterus leading to heavy, painful periods and anaemia
Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a lifelong, whole body neurobiological condition whereby the rise and full of hormones impacts the neurotransmitters in the brain causing symptoms such as depression, rage, anxiety, suicidal thoughts typically 1-2weeks before menstruation
Can you see the pattern?

CAR FINANCE DO NOT DO ANYTHING NOW. DO NOT SIGN UP TO A CLAIMS FIRM. PLEASE SHARE.
My suspicion is the FCA will within weeks announce consultation on a redress scheme for discretionary commission cases. You may not even have to claim it ,could be automatic. And with excessive commissions I suspect more guidance will come on that at a similar time.
If you sign up to a claims firm now, you may have to give it a cut even if it does nothing. So just sit on your hands for now.
