@Benin_prince_@brfootball Having multiple acts pivoting on things like this is very Hollywood story.
Act 1 bringing in the new owners who know nothing about sport; Act 2 building the team for turn around; Act 3 everything going smoothly; Act 4 hitting struggles; Act 5 overcoming and reaching the goal
@SteveCole1@MommaLamb1@Oklahoma_AD@JimNagyOU They already are in the process of a massive expansion of the current stadium this and next off seasons, if built anything like latest concept art should roughly double the seating capacity and will be a massive upgrade to practice facilities.
@HunterShelton_ Having dropped first game to GT in regional bracket and being down several runs in the second game of that bracket at one point, seemed to have peaked at almost the last plausible moment.
@bd2577@notthefakeSVP The team treats their history like were an expansion team starting year of relocation, it is the league and media that merge Seattle and OKC
@pd_tex@KendallRogers@OU_Baseball@Populous@NCAABaseball@d1baseball This design would more than double seating capacity to around 7K, new building is back far enough could continue full bleachers in front of it, the infield on 3rd base side would likely be relocated if expand there (there is flat land around the width of full ballfield adjacent)
@swagistician891@2024dion Vegas does not have a classic inner loop, those are only like a mile wide, often directly around downtown core of several decades ago. It also sounds like you may be talking about a beltway, which has different pros/cons.
@bgthkdk8in@Queen_primis These likely are much cheaper tools and probably already have them, vs buying dozens to hundreds for a city, and less likely to break or affected by heat (some buildings have these internally too).
These tools may have other uses, so already will be carrying them.
@bgthkdk8in@Queen_primis In an ideal case. Though low tech can still have advantages; lower weight carrying tools hundreds of feet from vehicle, weight is split between two guys, plus cannot count on electric socket (so additional weight from gas version or batteries)
@ChrisWidnes@escapefrommelos This superbowl has hotels used for stadium that never would be in normal game, photo shows it is a long walk to anywhere in space prioritizing cars/trains, and there would be a massive list of higher walkability improvements that would be used much more than bridge/tunnel here.
@PradiftaTri Also likely increases soil erosion, damages local fish/wildlife population, and complicates maintenance for critical water infrastructure. Could promote people camping or building in flood zones, so also increase risk of deaths.
@PradiftaTri Seems multiple issues: few can do on own land, few have consistent flow near house. Less efficient/reliable than local government project. Looks on edge of not having enough water or so much could be washed away, having random people do everywhere likely increases flood risks.
@seanhalfcourt Usually south has three issues; as rarely an issue just don't have equipment to deal with scale of snow norther states can, few drivers are used to the conditions, and often are getting freezing rain or sleet in winter storms so not much equipment could have done with it anyway
@LivermoreTech@alphafox I doubt people in the south use it much either, most people I know from there barely remember to put the old fashion scraper they have had for years in the car for winter with gloves or other incidental winter items.
@wheespersnap1@alphafox Yeah, for areas that rarely get ice people are lucky to have remembered to throw a scraper in the vehicle for winter, I doubt many specifically bought product like this presumably at their job (which is pretty much the only place their vehicle would be long enough to ice over).
@jbezzie_jesse@InPoliticalDivd@FoxNews The police car's lights and siren are on directly next to the vehicle, plus likely had been on for some time while approaching vehicle and evaluated what was going on inside the car, a horn or loudspeaker are not going to do anything more than siren has been doing for minutes.
