i know i’m spamming about alysa liu so if you don’t get it, here’s some reasons why you should care!!! this girl literally quit skating while she was hailed as a prodigy because she wasn’t enjoying it anymore. she came back on her own terms, just for the love of it, and with the boundary that she is in charge & no one would pressure or harm her the way they do to so many female athletes. she’s progressive, supports palestine, & has spoken out about multiple social issues in the us. she is literally making the change we want to see in america. women like alysa liu are the future & make me so proud of what america could be.
