Reading people talking about defense on Twitter is so funny. Dudes will see a High/Low mix with a 1 frame difference and go "fake as fuck, just fuzzy block"
I'm so tired of the ez "convert/extend" button. Im so surprised people don't think this is the lamest thing in the world and its in like every game and Tokon REWARDS you for using it.
Idk how the FGC has the audacity to see SO many casuals and different gaming communities all have pretty similar experiences and thoughts uniquely about getting into fighting games, an already niche sub-genre, and respond with, "nah all your games are like this youre just lazy."
HERE COMES DAREDEVIL! 🔥
#GGST Producer Ken Miyauchi has confirmed that GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- will have another guest character in Season Pass 5!
Who do you think it's going to be? 👀

@calamarikurusuu Even on regular video review a lot of that shit doesnt get called. There's no reason a rule to prevent goal hanging needs to be so exact when OBVIOUSLY no one is doing so.
I came to appreciate how "vibes based" soccer was in the sense that it was important to maintain the "spirit" of the rules rather than a rigid rule set. Then they started to pull out the laser scanned precision 3D modeling software to catch a players left pinky toe for an offside
i really hate how much discussion on this app is purely driven by people wanting to feel superior to others and not actually wanting to prove their point
@defnotdylo I don’t really play that much anymore just a few sets here and there for fun. I’m kinda bored of fighting games honestly but that’s a whole lot other thing lol.
Every new 2XKO character that drops makes the previous ones feel so underdeveloped. The base roster looks unbelievably bland to me at this point. I don't see myself hovering over any of those character by the time the year ends.
@TSBibulus@RyanJosephHart Except “acceptance” isnt disconnected from the others and in fact can be what causes you to choose option 2, which isnt something you want. The playerbase can accept that a problematic character will never change, they are still not going to like it much less get hype about it.
I don’t know where this thought process originated from but the idea that people will just complain about the next thing has NEVER been a good reason to not fix/nerf something. This is a thought terminating statement.
But if you nerf Mai, someone else becomes public enemy number 1 and the cycle continues. Wouldn't it be more productive for your time investment to simply accept what it is and enjoy the game from that basis?
@BettrHumnNuName You’re saying what I’m saying in reverse. The original post was just saying that the hype died in the venue, which is totally reasonable. The response of, “shouldn’t we just accept it?” doesn’t mean anything here because it doesn’t change the situation at all.
@RyanJosephHart There's a difference between the type and magnitude of complaints. I can give light complaints about something i just don't like or the whole playerbase can be seriously reacting negatively to the entire state of a game. Some of these cant just be "accepted".
@RyanJosephHart - this doesnt ACTUALLY speak to what you initially replied to.
As for your initial response, youre just making the implication that even if they did fix it, nothing would change because people would keep complaining. But we both know the the state of complaining isnt binary.
I get the concern but the response to this has me feeling like when some oldhead would pull up to me at work and say something like, “I don’t use that cause it can be tracked”……….. I got some bad news for you man.
