We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.
Incredibly sorry to pass along this unfathomably sad and shocking news: Kyle Busch, the winningest overall driver in NASCAR history, has died at age 41.
Steve Phelps stepping down had to happen. The texts weren’t survivable. 20 years of work had missteps, but he was also the force behind NASCAR emerging from the post-Brian France debris field, being the first sport to return during Covid and this last $7.7B media rights deal.
📝 Highlights from the full @Nascar25Game gameplay video on YouTube:
• iRacing’s Matt Lewis: “This isn’t about trying to put the iRacing sim on a console.” The goal was approachability, making a game for fans at any skill level.
• Every track & car is straight from the sim (fully laser-scanned assets).
• Customization is wild. You can even adjust settings to make it easier (or harder) to spin your competitors out.
• Anthony Alfredo says the driving & physics feel very realistic.
