Someone pulled the fire alarm at the Westin after midnight. It didn’t sound on our floor (it’s standard practice to not sound a general alarm until an emergency is confirmed), so we didn’t have to evacuate, but this was obnoxious and a lot of people got woken up.

I’m having hernia surgery (for the second time) on Tuesday afternoon. This will be laparoscopic, so I’m hoping for a speedy recovery. Wish me luck, everyone!
