During the 1st semester, our 8th grader Nighthawks learn two songs in Spanish, today as a surprise I brought some disco ⚡lights🕺 so we could sing and have a motivating environment when doing it. I love this! This is a proud Spanish teacher! #buildingournest@HerbertAkinsMS
Today has been a great day at @HerbertAkinsMS as a project 7th graders did a "Desfile de modas" (Fashion show) so we put the red carpet, our QBall and some lights to make students have fun walking down the catwalk and describing themselves in Spanish!
Remember I said that to teach food description I brought candies and snacks from Chile? Today a student surprised me with a bag of the snacks I made them try, I was mindblown 🤯 she learned the name of the snack, searched it on internet and bought it for me, I feel appreciated 💖
