Ad 1 - bad
Ad 2 - good

I might run ad set 1.2 with

Ad 1 - previous high performer
Ad 2 - new test
Ad 3 - new test

I run ad set 1 vs ad set 1.2 for a short time (1 or 2 days) until I start seeing conversions), then turn off ad set 1

I’m not working with huge budgets but I usually organize my ad sets according to targeting i.e.

Ad set 1 - 1% purchase lookalike
Ad set 2 - Parents
Ad set 3 - Women only

Then I try not to run ad sets w/ the same aud against each other
