I have written to Hon’ble LG Shri @manojsinha_ sb , seeking his immediate intervention in the ongoing protest by MBBS interns in J&K.

Young doctors raising legitimate demands through peaceful and democratic means should not face intimidation or coercive action. At the same time, patient care and emergency services must remain uninterrupted.

I urge the administration to facilitate immediate dialogue, protect interns from victimisation, and work towards a fair, time-bound resolution of their stipend-related concerns.

Young doctors deserve to be heard with dignity, fairness and compassion.
