@GoatedKing8989@OfficiallyIce This has nothing 2do w/Hov or Drake. # are easily manipulated today: bot farms, paying for posts, fan 24/7 streaming parties etc. We can’t compare 680K ppl in line to spend $20 on 1 CD to streaming. It’s not an honest comparison. Maybe pre/post streaming records?
@Jayin88akaRelay As a hiphop fan who had never heard of 38 (I’m from the south) he seems to be all over the place. I don’t get why he’s upset. Jada doesn’t owe him a verse. Initially Jada was ducking him bc he had a better verse on a song, but now artists are colluding to stop his progress?
@_LIV_yourlife@TheRocSupremacy If they don’t have a tix they didn’t go through security! I would swiftly notify security… lol What happens when the actual tix holder finds their seat? IMO Jay should cancel. Security is an issue & he will be blamed for any issues after the show.
@M241Massey@ADominion6FIG@_Twinndiesel@RapRoundtablePC Dot fans never know what to expect & that’s part of the fun. He disappears, creates & releases his art to the world. He doesn’t care about trends. His goals are to make fans think & reflect (&party). He knew our focus was partying after the beef so he gave us perfection- GNX.
@mellymelbx_ It’s not hard. The problem is ppl use Jay for engagement & are constantly painting him as an evil capitalist who hasn’t helped any1. That’s not true. Cool, criticize the Target/NFL deals, but they go a step further & paint him as a sellout & he’s not going to accept that label
@mellymelbx_@TheKingofReads Ppl are trying 2define him in ways he fundamentally rejects. Saying he exploits the culture & is a sellout but ignoring his wk in criminal just reform isn’t honest. Ppl can say what they want but he’s entitled 2defend his name when the narrative crosses n2 mischaracterization
@Whats_the_dirt We are all speculating but I don’t think Tupac or his family who supported the Black Panther Party would respect or associate w/ anyone who said “whipped & chained you like American slaves.”
@MrViralHimself Artist should not engage w/platforms that fail 2uphold the core principles of journalism. Platforms that circulate misinformation, manipulate their audience, push unsubstantiated narratives, or fail 2conduct basic research b4 speaking on a topic should not be taken seriously.
@JacobB198@TheRocSupremacy What happened? When did Lames become the “go to” ppl for hip hop news. I can’t believe some of these outlets have such a large following. It’s clear to me that certain organizations are using hiphop platforms to manipulate the audience, spread lies & smear rap icons.
@JacobB198@TheRocSupremacy New to the platform & what I’ve seen since joining is alarming. Social media has turned men into drama QUEENS who say & do anything for engagement & money. I get media is the new hustle but it’s disappointing to see them spread lies & foolishness for profit.
@Du_mmor@marcdeshaun_@Fullmoonaftert1 Think the angle & weight loss are making her laugh lines & under eye/neck creasing more pronounced. Most women in their mid/late 40s experience creasing & that’s okay! Ppl online are weird. But if there are health issues we should all send prayers & positivity.
@iamrahstradamus IMO it’s not about fans, #1 singles or platinum plaques - it’s the memories tied to RD. It’s the foundation of his generational wealth. It signals a major shift in his life. It gave him the platform that led him to his wife. It took him places no one from Marcy had ever been.
@big_business_@TheRocSupremacy He will never get over the fact that he needed Jay. They started RAF as 3 equal partners but Jay was the engine. There are no deals w/out Jay’s talent. Admitting Jay’s focus on S.Carter ruined his deal w/Hilfiger proves ppl worked w/Dame bc of Jay. Ppl tolerated Dame bc of Jay.
