As part of its social responsibility initiatives, Lindos Naturals, a women-founded local enterprise, supports DEKAMER (Sea Turtle Research, Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre), which works on the conservation, treatment, and rehabilitation of sea turtles at İztuzu Beach.

Our student, Elif Özdemir, participated in the METU Sociology Days on March 14-15 with her presentation, “The Politics of Eutrophication: Eco-Translation as a Form of Resistance Against Technocratic Discourse,” developed from Dr. Ayşe Yetiş’s Environment and Society course.
