@dunord@TaylorTwellman These networks need to learn the art of picture in picture. NFL started doing ads during shorter stops, no reason soccer couldn't do the same for ads and replays
@HaasF1Team should be absolutely livid. Twice kmag has been meatballed while other teams are allowed to continue to race even with pieces falling off of their cars
@johnmcp66 3. And finally, again more of an American tradition, playoffs level the playing field. Certainly an accomplishment to be ebst team across 36 games but also mega accomplishments to win the big elimination game. Both have their merit
@johnmcp66 2. One of the most intense games in European football is the derby and usually because the teams are 7 blocks from each other, America doesn't have that because it's so spread out. So the way to inject intensity into any sport is an elimination tournament and hence playoffs
@johnmcp66 Meh couple counter points here
1. Playoffs are as unique to American sports as it gets. Every league since American creation has had playoffs so I don't think it's about money, more making our home league uniquely ours which alot of countries do
@Vanislegend4L I'm a cowboys fan, shocked we are where we are. Vikes look decent this year but too many single possession wins. Eventually those start going the other way
