Not finding comfort in prayer?

The Promised Messiah (as) gave this solution:

“Some people complain that they do not find comfort in prayer. They should go back to it repeatedly. In the initial stages of spiritual effort there is often a feeling of constriction. At such time, one should repeatedly supplicate: “Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help.” […] Those who occupy themselves with this entreaty and are not wearied receive a new power and new strength, wherewith Satan is vanquished. But to submit this prayer and acquire this strength one needs sincerity and a consuming urge.”

THE MAN OF PEACE WE REFUSED TO HEAR

As the conflict in the Middle East intensifies, and innocent civilians, helpless toddlers, are torn apart by bombs, the world watches in silence. The superpowers, that claim to be champions of justice, now stand idle, their pride has eclipsed their humanity.

Arrogance and ego have replaced compassion, and we edge ever closer to the looming abyss of World War III. The shadow of nuclear devastation stretches across the globe, it is a threat we cannot fathom its consequences.

It will not be a war like any other. It will be a nuclear holocaust, and though we do not know how many will perish in its wake, one thing is certain. That those who survive will envy the dead. They will be left to pick through the remnants of a world they once knew, shattered beyond repair. The survivors will not be able to escape the horror they’ve witnessed, and the weight of the destruction will be unbearable.Yet, amid that devastation, a name will echo through the memories of those who remain.

Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (atba). He stood before humanity, time and time again, warning us of this very outcome, begging us to turn back from the brink. He called for peace, justice, and faith in God, spending countless nights in tearful prayers for the world. He traveled across continents, pleading with nations to heed his words. But the world was consumed by its pride and greed, his call was ignored.

At that time, when the world lies in ruins, when humanity stumbles through the barren wastelands, parched and helpless, even the water that remains will offer no relief. In that moment, the survivors will turn to the only source of salvation and that is Allah. They will finally remember the man who called them towards Him, but by then, it will be too late. Only then will they realize that the peace they sought was always within reach, but their hearts had been closed to it.

He was on the stage delivering his speech & while reciting the following couplet

بھیج درود اُس محسن پر تُو دن میں سو سو بار
پاک محمد مصطفیٰ نبیوں کا سردار

His Soul left his body to meet the beloved Prophet (saw) in-person. 🥰
